Hold a Hearing on the "Clean Water for All Life Act!"

Last week, I sent an email to Representative Johnson's office encouraging him to hold a hearing on the Clean Water for All Life Act (H.R. 7983), which is currently stalled in Congress. One can safely argue that the vast majority of abortions are now occurring in the homes of pregnant women rather than in abortion facilities, due to the Biden administration's distribution of chemical abortion pills nationwide. Below is the text of the email that I sent to Representative Johnson regarding this matter:

As you may know, the majority of abortions are now being committed with Chemical Abortion Pills at home and without proper medical supervision. These pills are deadly because they are designed to kill preborn babies, and they often endanger mothers, too.

What you may not know is that there is another, lesser-known tragedy arising from the abortion industry's reckless online, no-test distribution of Chemical Abortion Pills: abortion water pollution.

Since abortion vendors encourage mothers to take the deadly pills at home with no medical supervision, chemically tainted blood, placental tissue, and precious human remains are being flushed down the toilet into America’s waterways.

Neither hospitals nor abortion vendors are permitted to flush a placenta or human beings “down the drain,” but the Biden Administration created a precedent by turning a blind eye to the consequences of allowing no-test, online distribution of Chemical Abortion Pills across America.

Students for Life Action's "Clean Water for All Life Act," H.R. 7983, sponsored by Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), requires that the original distributor of Chemical Abortion Pills use existing Red Bag Medical Waste Disposal protocols for the abortion procedure and properly dispose of pathological medical waste, including in home-based settings. This places the burden on the abortion pill distributor to properly dispose of the pathological medical waste (an EPA term) and the human remains generated by Chemical Abortion Pill use. Our legislation would require Red Bag Medical Waste protocols to be followed to stop the more than 50 tons of chemically tainted blood and placenta tissue, along with human remains, that go into our waterways EVERY YEAR.

The "Clean Water for All Life Act" would also hold Chemical Abortion Pill distributors responsible via fines and clean-up requirements if endocrine disruptors from these hundreds of thousands of abortions are found to pollute our water system.

Plus, it is our hope that the "Clean Water for All Life Act" will create a massive opportunity for mothers & fathers to grapple with the reality of an innocent life lost in these toilet bowl abortions and change their minds... before it’s too late.

The bottom line is this: No baby deserves to die from Chemical Abortion Pills, and no one should have to worry about drinking another person's abortion. This legislation is critical to save preborn babies and protect our drinking water, crops, and wildlife.

The "Clean Water for All Life Act" was assigned to the House Judiciary Committee. Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and members of the House Judiciary Committee, please help us end abortion water pollution and hold a committee hearing on this important piece of legislation! There's not much time to act if the GOP loses the majority come November. The time is NOW!

As a professional registered environmental engineer who designed, constructed, and inspected wastewater treatment, disposal, and collection systems for 21 years, I can assure you that no wastewater system operator wants to be exposed to chemically tainted blood, placental tissue, and human remains being flushed down the toilet and plugging the bar racks of a wastewater treatment plant. Moreover, consider the human remains that could become caught on tree roots that grow into sewer collection systems, plugging sewer lines and exposing wastewater system operators to biohazardous waste. Furthermore, imagine human remains being pumped out of a septic tank, exposing septic tank pumpers to chemically tainted blood, placental tissue, and human remains. Finally, consider the toxic chemicals being flushed into our sewer systems from at-home abortions. Those remains are then discharged into streams and waterways, where water is later drawn from lakes and rivers to supply drinking water to downstream communities. This is absolutely grotesque, but it is real and is happening across America in both cities and small towns. Abortions are occurring in the privacy of people's homes, exposing the public to toxic chemicals that pollute our waterways. That is why I support the Clean Water for All Life Act. America's waterways must be protected from the toxic effects of chemical abortions.

This study has captured the attention of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which is currently evaluating mifepristone for inclusion in the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).

As an environmental engineer, I have always been committed to safeguarding our water supply from lead, copper, arsenic, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and many other harmful contaminants regulated under the SDWA. However, this study should serve as a wake-up call to Americans on both sides of the aisle who want to protect our environment from the effects of chemical abortions contaminating our waterways. There is an easy solution to this problem; however, does Congress have the will to fix the problem?

If elected to the legislature, I will introduce legislation that will protect our streams and waterways from chemical abortions. Let's not kid ourselves; mail-order distribution of RU486 pills is being delivered across our state line, whether one wants to admit it or not, since there is no real enforcement of our state law on this matter.

One may argue that legislation will have very little effect on protecting our streams, rivers, and aquifers. My response: What civilization aborts a child and flushes it down a toilet only to have the human remains and all the chemical abortion toxins be pumped right back into our drinking water supply? Not only is this abhorrent and immoral, but also ungodly to think that human beings discard another human life into a toilet bowl because it does not have dignity or value. As a society, I hope we are better than this. If not, God help us.
