Good morning District 27. It is T minus 40 days until the November 5th General Election. Early voting has already started (September 20th). People are not wasting time and are getting out to vote in case of a late October/early November surprise (e.g., an early snowstorm).
Some reports indicate the number of early voting is high across the state, especially with our seniors who have a challenging time getting to the polls. Make a plan to get out and vote and while doing so, bring a friend or family member along with you who may need assistance getting to the polling center or dropping off an absentee ballot. Voting is a privilege that every American should take seriously.
Today I am spending time in the northern tier of District 27 to meet voters and to get more signs up. At the moment, my back is killing me from all the post-pounding, but I will persevere through this. Continue to pray that I get across the finish line with a successful victory in November.
