The DSA Wants to Burn It Down

It's time to take back our country before it's too late!

The Democratic Socialists of America’s (DSA) new platform has been released. Don't be fooled by their "Freedom to Flourish" language or kiddie pictures. Below is a summary of what they are explicitly demanding:

• Publicly funded unlimited abortion access and "gender-affirming care," including for minors.

• The abolition of police, prisons, deportations, and federal immigration enforcement agencies.

• The elimination of the presidency, the U.S. Senate, and an independent judiciary.

• Public ownership of major sectors of the economy.

• Government seizure of the Federal Reserve, banking, insurance, and real estate.

In my view, these "burn it down" DSA policies would fundamentally transform America and move our nation away from the principles of limited government, individual liberty, and free enterprise. This is not the Democratic Party my father or grandparents belonged to.

I believe our district deserves a state senator who will defend freedom, protect private property rights and local control, defend the unborn, support hardworking families, and keep more money in the pockets of the people who earn it—not in the hands of a socialist government.

Don't be fooled this November. Vote for the candidate who loves this country, values freedom, and will fight to preserve the culture and traditional values of South Dakota.
