Why I am Running for State Senate

Two years ago, I ran for District 27 State Senate and lost by 289 votes out of 7,325 votes cast. I recently dug up this video, made by my sister-in-law on Thanksgiving Day in 2024, that has never been made public—until today.

Despite the election loss, my younger sister made a patriotic American flag cake to congratulate me on a job well done. What I said two years ago still holds true today.

In a speech I shared with my family, I said, "This campaign was never about me. It was about you and the future of South Dakota."

Those words remain just as true today. Through faith, service, and accountability, I will protect the South Dakota Way of Life.

I respectfully ask for your vote on November 3rd for South Dakota State Senate, District 27.

God bless!
