A Busy Day on the Campaign Trail

It was a busy day on the campaign trail! This morning, I got up early to do some sign-waving in the early morning fog at the entrance to Bennett County Elementary School. I saw lots of happy faces as I waved to parents and students on their way to school.

Next, I drove to Rapid City to be interviewed by KOTA Territory News reporter Karli West at 1 PM. It was a great interview, and I felt good about how it went! The interview will air during the 5:30 PM news broadcast on Tuesday, October 13. Livestream broadcast here: https://www.kotatv.com/news/

Be sure to tune in, and let me know what you think!

After the interview, I stopped at Dinosaur Park and drove down Skyline Drive to take in the views. I hadn't been there in years, so it was nice to revisit the area. I'll be using some of these photos in an upcoming Get Out the Vote campaign video.

Finally, I headed back to Martin, checking on my campaign signs along the way. It was dark by the time I reached my last signs along Highway 18 at Gordon Junction. Thankfully, they were all holding up well against the wind. I made a few minor repairs, but overall, the signs are standing strong! I finally pulled into my driveway around 8:30 PM.

A special thank-you to everyone hosting my campaign signs! I appreciate you keeping an eye on them throughout this vast district. Running a campaign across an area the size of Connecticut and Rhode Island combined is no small undertaking, and your support makes a real difference.

Have a great week, everyone, and thank you for following my campaign!
