Yesterday (April 10, 2026) was a perfect day for a drive. I had an errand that took me to Kadoka, and I always enjoy traveling SD Highway 73 in the spring of the year. The open skies, rolling hills, and the scenery of the Badlands as you cross the White River Valley make it a remarkable stretch of road. It’s one more reason I value living in western South Dakota and proudly call it home.
